Ways to Donate
Drogheda Animal Rescue (DAR) relies heavily on public donations for the care of its dogs & cats. Its average running cost per month is €5000.00. This is mainly due to costly private boarding kennels for housing dogs until they find homes and for ongoing veterinarian care. All donations go solely to the care of the animals and are greatly appreciated & greatly needed!
There are many ways members of the public can donate to DAR and these are described below:
1. Post: Donations can be made by the post. Please make all cheques payable to Drogheda Animal Rescue and Post to Treasurer, Drogheda Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 159, Drogheda, County Louth. No cash accepted by post.
2. Cash: Any cash donations are greatly appreciated and can be given to one of the DAR volunteers. Please contact us by email info@dar.ie or telephone 041 983 2418 to make arrangements.
3. Standing Order: Please download this pdf form. If you do not have access to a printer, please email us at info@dar.ie and we'll post one out to you! DAR Standing Order Form (pdf)
4. Pay Pal: Please use PayPal to make on-line donations. Please make PayPal payments to admin@dar.ie
5. Food / Bedding / Supplies: DAR is always in need of dog & cat food, cat litter, shredded paper, newspaper, bedding, such as used duvets, blankets, towels, & pillows, and supplies such as dog collars / leads, bowls, and animal toys. Even cleaning products such as dishwashing detergent, paper towels, black rubbish bags, disposable plastic or latex gloves. Please contact us at info@dar.ie or by telephone 041 983 2418, if you have any items you wish to donate.
