We can't save all the animals in Ireland, but with your help,
we can work together to make the life better of one more animal in need.

2010 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
OCTOBER
SEPTEMBER
Saturday 18th September 2010 - Abseil off the D Hotel & Evening Entertainment from 12 noon to late.
**CLOSING DATE EXTENDED TO SATURDAY 4TH SEPT 2010**
Are you an adrenaline junkie?
Would you like to abseil down the side of a tall building?
Drogheda Animal Rescue are delighted to invite you in conjunction with Carlingford Adventure Centre and the D Hotel , to join us in an abseil off the D Hotel on Saturday 18th September 2010.
This is an all day event and will comprise of volunteer's abseiling from the roof of the D Hotel from 12 noon to 6pm. All our welcome to come and watch these daredevils in action!
The evening part of the event will commence at 8pm and will comprise of musical entertainment provided by the D Hotel and of course a raffle with some fantastic prizes sponsored by numerous local business in Drogheda and the surrounding local area e.g. Scholars Hotel, Laurence's Centre, the D Hotel and Stack's Pharmacy, Bettystown to name but a few.

Information required is: Name, Postal Address, Email Address & Contact Number.
To complete the Abseil each person must raise a minimum of €200.00 and you must have your sponsorship money with you on the day to take part!
Participants must be over 18 years of age.
Closing Date for Registraion is 31st August 2010.

Sunday 5th September 2010 - WEE COUNTY VINTAGE SHOW, Dunleer Co Louth @ 3pm.
AUGUST
Saturday 21st August 2010 - Car Boot Sale, Donore Retail Park, Homebase CP, Drogheda, 2pm - 6pm.
Saturday 21st August 2010 - Information Day, Scotch Hall Shopping Centre, from 10am - 5pm.
JULY
Saturday 26th June 2010 - Arts/Crafts/Cakes & Plants Sale from 9am - 3pm.
The Sale will take place at our Centre at Bellscourt, Scholes Lane, (off Narrow West St). Along with the sale there will be face painting for the children and our cats & kittens for re-homing will be available to view. Please come along as you never know what lovely items you may find to buy or cakes to eat!

Bank Holiday 7th June 2010 - Flora Women's Mini Marathon, Dublin
If you wish to participate in the Mini Marathon in aid of DAR please complete the Mini Marathon entry form that can be found in the Evening Herald or to apply on-line by clicking www.womensminimarathon.ie/registration/enter_step1.asp Closing date for entries is 27th April.

Thursday 27th May 2010 - Information Day, Laurence's Shopping Centre from 10am - 5pm.
Saturday 22nd May 2010 - Information Day, Drogheda Town Centre from 10am - 5pm.
APRIL
Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th April 2010 - Church Gate Collections in Drogheda, Co Louth.
We would like to say a big "THANK YOU" to all for your generosity at the collections.
FEBRUARY
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th February 2010 - Church Gate Collections in the Parish of Dunleer.
Friday 19th February 2010 - Table Quiz in McHugh's, Drogheda, Co Louth.
We would like to say a big "THANK YOU" to all that attended, making it a very successful fundraiser.
