Our Location

Drogheda Animal Rescue has a base at Bellescourt, Scholes Lane, which is off Narrow West Street in Drogheda. We house some of our cats there and we have our Cat and Kitten Rehoming Days there every Saturday between 1pm and 4pm. No dogs are held at this premises.

Directions

From Dublin:

Follow the M1 Northbound until you reach Exit 7 which is the Julianstown/Drogheda South exit. Follow the road to Drogheda and into the town. The road will bring you past McDonald's fast food restaurant on your right and bring you over the Bridge of Peace. Take the right turn straight after the bridge onto Narrow West Street. Abrakebabra is located along this road on the left and to the left of that is a lane, we are located a little way up the lane on the right. There is a gated courtyard and our premises is on the left side of the courtyard. Unfortunately, you cannot drive up the lane so it is best after taking the right turn after the Bridge of Peace to take an immediate right turn onto the road that leads to the Drogheda Garda Station and park your car there and walk back up to our location.

From Slane/Navan:

Follow the Slane Road to Drogheda and cross over the M1, go straight through the next roundabout and take a right turn  at the next roundabout onto the North Road towards Drogheda town. Take a left turn onto Narrow West Street at the second set of traffic lights. Abrakebabra is located along this road on the left and to the left of that is a lane, we are located a litte way up the lane on the right. There is a gated courtyard and our premises is on the left side of the courtyard. Unfortunately, you cannot drive up the lane so it is best after taking the right turn after the Bridge of Peace to take an immediate right turn onto the road that leads to the Drogheda Garda Station and park your car there and walk back up to our location.

From Ardee/Dundalk

 Follow the M1 Southbound and take Exit 10 off the motorway and follow the road to Drogheda by taking a left at the first roundabout that you meet coming off the motorway. Go straight through the next roundabout and take a right turn  at the next roundabout onto the North Road towards Drogheda town.
