Special Appeals

 ELVIS

Elvis is a mature male cat who was hit by a car and brought to the vets. He sustained a broken pelvis and leg and is currently on cage rest.

Unfortunately, he also has FIV, otherwise known as Cats Aids, probably due from the fact that he was never neutered. Un-neutered males tend to fight and this is how the virus is transmitted.

FIV is not transmitted easily to other cats but Elvis does need to go to a home where he will be an indoor cat with no other cats. He is a super-friendly, relaxed chap who would make a good long term fosterling for the experienced cat owner.

If you would like to rehome or foster Elvis, please contact us at cats@dar.ie or call us on 041 983 2418.

 SPARKLE

Our Little Sparkle has poor eyesight and requires a special home where her owners can take the time to 'show' her the way around. Once she has a routine and becomes familiar with the location of things e.g., food bowls, furniture, etc... she will be fine. If you can offer Sparkle the special home she needs please contact us at cats@dar.ie or call us on 041 983 2418
